On the average most people will go for a laptop that fits well into their work, job or fun life. And once they can get this type of laptop they are okay irrespective of what it may or may not have. Other people just love reviewing various laptops so they spend a lot of money in buying several laptops just to see what one laptop can offer above the other. But when it comes to laptop around the $500 price radius this Asus K50IJ – XA1 can be seen as one of the good ones. It however has both pluses and minuses. Therefore one must make sure that they are well acquainted with the pros as well as the cons of this Asus K50IJ – XA1 before settling down with it as the laptop of their choice.
- Intel Core 2 Duo T65oo Processor

- 0.3 mega pixel webcam
While it is true that Asus has a good name in the laptop manufacturing industry, many will still say the Asus K50IJ – XA1 is not one of the better laptops that they have produced. However this laptop still has some okay features and that it has an average review rating of 4.0/5.0 stars shows that people aren’t that upset with this Asus laptop. But apart from its major features listed above it really can’t do too much for its $499.00 price. It is however a beautiful looking laptop that can handle most basic computing and it also has low power consumption.
Its screen doesn’t really go the full 1080p and it might be hard if not impossible for one to differentiate btw a 1080p video and a 720p video. The response of the touch pad is also quite poor.
So is this laptop recommendable? Well, yes if you love Asus. But if you have been their critic for some time you may want to get a different laptop simply because the chances are that you will buy the laptop and be looking for the cons. The bad thing will be that you may just see a lot of them. Nevertheless, it is still a fairly good laptop for basic computing. But it is certainly not a gaming laptop.
