There are other smartphones on the market that have almost similar features as the iPhone 4S and it would be better to compare the other units to this famous smartphone that a lot of people clamor for. It would be better to compare Apple’s iPhone 4S to Motorola’s Droid Bionic, Samsung’s Galaxy S II, Samsung’s Focus, and BlackBerry’s Bold 9900.

First off is the processor. Samsung Focus has one of the lowest processors among all the smartphones with a 1-GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon. Smartphone models that have a 1-GHx dual core chips are the iPhone 4S and the Droid Bionic. While the BlackBerry Bold and Samsung Galaxy S II both have 1.2 GHz, BlackBerry uses a Snapdragon model, while the Samsung Galaxy S II uses a dual core-chip. It is well known that it is better to have two cores.

In terms of battery life, Samsung Galaxy S II is at the forefront since it has a 1650 mAH battery. It is closely followed by the iPhone 4S with a 1420 mAH battery. Bold only has 1240 mAH making it the last in terms of battery capacity.

As for the Network, the smartphones that are being carried by a single communication company only are Samsung Focus and Droid Bionic namely AT&T’s HSPA+ network and Verizon’s CDMA and LTE networks respectively. BlackBerry Bold 9900 is carried by T-mobile, Sprint, and Verizon. The Samsung Galaxy S II has similar carriers except that AT & T is a carrier instead of Verizon. The iPhone is also carried by 3 telecommunication companies namely AT & T, Verizon, and Sprint.

Based on the pertinent information given, there are evidently other smartphones out there that can battle head-to-head with an iPhone in terms of features alone. There are smartphones that are better in terms of battery life and processor but for some people, they still prefer the ever reliable iPhone models for answering their everyday entertainment and communication need. Hence in buying a smartphone, it is still better to check for the features of each phone that would best suit the user.

For those who want to let go of the past in terms of letting go of old cellular phones, it is better to sell the unit to Cashforsmartphones.com. The company buys smartphones for cash. This site specializes in the sale of any old smartphones that are unusable because of old age or out of style looks. They actually refurbish old and broken Apple products.
