In this piece, I am going to provide you with the Difference between Samsung Omnia W and Nokia Lumia 710.

1) Design

Firstly I would be talking about the Design of both the smart phones. Form factor of both Samsung Omnia W and Nokia Lumia 710 is Candybar, Touchscreen. The dimensions for Nokia Lumia 710 are 119×62.4 x 12.5 mm, 81 cc and 115.6 x 58.8 x 10.9 mm. The Nokia Lumia 710 weighs 125.5 grams and Samsung Omnia W weighs 115.3 grams. The Nokia gadget is available in various different colors such as Yellow, fuchsia, can, white, black and white; whereas the Samsung device is available only in Black color.

2) Display

The display type of Nokia Lumia 710 is TFT capacitive touchscreen with 16 M colors where as Samsung Omnia W also has 16 m colors and Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen. The size is 480 x 800 pixels, 3.7 inches and 480 x 800 pixels, 3.7 inches respectively. Moreover, Nokia Lumia 710 supports multi-touch and Corning Gorilla Glass.

Samsung Omnia W supports multi-touch input technique, Gyro sensor, proximity sensor for automatic turn off where as Nokia Lumia 710 has a ClearBlack display.

3) Network

Both the gadgets support 2G, 3G networks. However, none of them support 4G connectivity.

4) Notifications

Alter Types: Nokia Lumia 710 supports Vibration, WAV, MP3 ringtones and same goes for the Samsung Omnia W. furthermore; both devices support an integrated Speaker phone feature.

5) Memory

The internal memory supported by both the smart phones includes 8 GB storage capacity and 512 MB RAM. However, there is not option for the card slots. The Phonebook feature supports nearly unlimited fields and entries as well as photocall feature. Call records for Samsung Omnia W are practically unlimited whereas Nokia Lumia 710 supports the feature.

6) Connectivity

Both the devices support GPRS, EDGE, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB and GPS connectivity. The EDGE and GPRS supported by Nokia Lumia 710 is Class 33. The speed offered by both gadgets is HSDPA 14.4 Mbps, HSUPA 5.76 Mbps.

7) Camera

Both devices support primarily 5 MP, 2592?,1944 pixels, LED flash and autofocus. Moreover, Nokia Lumia 710 offers features such as face detection and geo-tagging and Samsung Omnia W provides image stabilization as well as geo tagging feature. The video is 720p@30fps for both the gadgets; in addition, the Samsung device supports secondary camera and VGA.

8) Multimedia

Both smart phones support different Audio formats that mainly include WMA, eAAC+, WAV and MP3. The integrated video format includes WMV, H.263, H.264 and MP4. Moreover, the devices support Stereo FM radio option with RDS.

9) Operating Application Software

Both Samsung Omnia W and Nokia Lumia 710 support Microsoft Windows Phone 7.5 Mango as their Operating system. Java support is available with Nokia Lumia 710. The browsers supported by Nokia Lumia 710 includes HTML5, WAP 2.0/xHTML, RSS feeds whereas Samsung Omnia W only supports HTML.
